A3 Highway

Italy
1997

The artifacts in question are related to the resurfacing of the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, which ANAS wanted to widen the roadway and improve the quality of the route.

BMS, in collaboration with Proger S.p.a., developed the design of 8 viaducts on the route, adopting the type of precast prestressed girders with adhered wires.

This intervention is part of a program to modernize the Italian highway network, aimed at ensuring greater safety and traffic flow.

The adoption of precast prestressed beams offers advantages in terms of construction time, quality control and strength.

BMS was in charge of project development for the viaducts, integrating its engineering expertise with that of Proger.
