Fire Palace

2017 - ongoing

The Fire Palace, an iconic Piazzale Loreto in Milan, was recently renovated, blending the original 1960s design with modern requirements. The renovation resulted in improved aesthetics and functionality, as well as a significant increase in sustainability, as evidenced by the LEED Platinum certification achieved.

The building's characteristic "V" shape has been preserved, offering state-of-the-art work and commercial spaces. The facade, while respecting the historic image, has been updated with technologies that improve energy efficiency. The building is now more accessible and features a renovated central courtyard, which serves as a meeting point and contributes to the redevelopment of the entire area.

In sum, the Fire Palace has become a symbol of how architecture can evolve over time, maintaining its distinctive features while adapting to new standards of urban living.
