Riccagioia Winery

The experimental company in Riccagioia is the head office of ERSAF (the regional authority for services to agriculture and forestry in Lombardy) and operates in the wine-making sector in close collaboration with the University of Milan’s Faculty of Agriculture.

The project aims to develop the complex as a centre of high-level training and experimental research, and involves the restoration of two courtyards which make up the original architectural complex, as part of a renovation and conservation project involving the associated historic buildings. At the same time those sections falling into ruin will be demolished and reconstructed. Of particular interest are the MEP installations provided, with particular reference to the laboratory equipment.

BMS oversaw the coordination and integration of the various specialist activities, developing the building, structural and MEP design.
